Behind the Scenes
Preproduction/iterations of the Soteria illustration We wanted Soteria to feel ethereal yet organic and earthy.

Preproduction/iterations of the Elythia tree dwelling The tree is significant to the Soterians. By nature, it serves as an abundant source of sustenance and represents life.
Initially, our background artist explored having the tree share traits of other living organisms

Meet the artist: Mei Tan
Mei is a background/concept artist and children's book illustrator.
She has done work for clients such as Disney Jr., Titmouse, Encantos Media, and Macmillan Pub.
So far, she has painted several concept art pieces for Soteria, all of which are featured in our concept trailer.

Preproduction/iterations of the Elythia pods
Beneath the soil, the physical bodies that Soterians use to traverse across dimensions are grown and incubated in pods from the roots of Elythia Trees, such as the tree that's central to our Soteria concept illustration. Here are some iterations on that idea that eventually became the illustration in the concept trailer.

Preproduction/iterations of the final scene of our trailer In the final scene of our concept trailer, four mysterious figures are seen whose arrival to this planet is paramount.
The fifth earth is a mostly inhospitable wasteland with small to midsized urban centers dotted about. You may also find the occasional small settlement or lone dwelling in the outskirts.
Our young female protagonist has a "rusty thumb" and can piece together functional equipment from the most inconspicuous spare parts, like her hover ATV.
