The Story of Soteria

"The earth you know exists in many forms across different dimensional planes. In our dimension she is called Soteria. We, the Soterians, act as protectors of the known earths on their journeys to ascension. An existential threat has risen against the 5th earth and we must now intervene."

Soteria is a sci-fi, coming-of-age story where our tenacious and adventurous protagonists discover what they are truly capable of when an existential threat rises against them. On their crucial journey, they form unimaginable connections with other extraordinary beings along the way.

The Vision

Ultimately we are storytellers at heart. We will begin our story by releasing a PFP collection of our heroes the Soterians, randomized and curated from hand-drawn traits. These collectibles will be a gateway to the Soteria community in order to foster an engaged fanbase who loves adventure just as much as we do. Holding a PFP will allow perks, such as: art airdrops, raffles, and early access to the story of Soteria. The mint funds of this collection will go towards bringing Soteria to life in comics and other visual media. We want to tell this story on web3 and beyond.

The Team

Our core team is a couple of 90s kids who love using their power of imagination through art and storytelling, with an affinity for blockchain technology and its capability to serve and connect people from around the world. There are a couple of additional artists on the team who specialize in character design and background/environments. We are completely self-funded with no VC or large studio backing. Kia is a nature and animal lover who’s passion lies in creating art, storytelling, and being a positive influence for young people. She is a talented stage and voice actor featured in commercials and indie film projects, and has an academic background in Psychology and Sociology.

She began her journey in the web3 space in late 2020. She first fell in love with Bitcoin's ability to connect people globally, driven by her immense love for helping others. During her time in the space, Kia has made positive connections with artists and reputable projects such as Claynosaurz, Galactic Geckos and OKAY Bears. Kia is doxxed with the founder of Claynosaurz. While she has a deep fondness for creating traditional art, she has participated in web3 art competitions and created fan art for projects and artists she admires. Kia is dedicated to sharing her talents with both web2 and web3 audiences. Her favorite animated films are The Lion King and Spirited Away.

Nate: Co‑director

Nate is a digital media professional with over 15 years of experience telling stories through Motion Design, Video Production, and other forms of art. He has directed and produced social media content, commercials, and corporate films for clients such as Tastemade and JetBlue. He also jumps at the chance to work on the occasional narrative piece when the opportunity arises.

He began his crypto journey in 2018, falling in love with the concept of decentralized, immutable Bitcoin. He entered the web3 space in 2020, working on video content, branding, and UI design for DeFi projects and a layer 1 smartchain.

In 2023, he was captivated by the work of Claynosaurz on Solana and started taking notes, while exploring the rest of the Solana ecosystem. His favorite animated films are The Land Before Time and Castle in the Sky.
